Tester Statement on Anniversary of September 11th Attacks
Friday, September 11, 2020
(Big Sandy, Mont.) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement in recognition of the 19th anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks:
“Today, all Americans pause to reflect on one of the darkest days in our history—a day that changed this country forever. The attacks of September 11th were meant to destroy us, and instead America showed the world a nation united in strength. As we face new challenges, let us remember that we are stronger together, and that we must continue to honor the sacrifices made by our first responders, servicemembers, veterans, and countless other brave Americans who work to ensure this country remains the greatest nation in the world.”
