Burr: Honor Our Nation's Veterans

Each year, in times of war and in times of peace, our nation sets aside a day to remember and honor those who answered the call of duty to serve our country in the United States Armed Forces. The 24 million veterans who we honor this year have bravely shouldered the burden of protecting our nation's freedoms and have shown the character and determination that inspires and reminds us of what makes America great. As I meet with veterans old and young alike, I'm reminded that they deserve our thanks and support every day.
