SENATE VETERANS' AFFAIRS COMMITTEE TO HEAR FROM FOUR MORE VETERANS GROUPS THURSDAY

(Washington, DC) Chairman Larry Craig announced today that the Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs will hold a hearing on Thursday, March 30, to receive testimony from the national leadership of four more veterans' organization: National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs, AMVETS, American Ex-Prisoners of War and Vietnam Veterans of America.
The hearing is part of series of on-going meetings the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee is holding with national veterans groups to listen to their concerns and receive their advice on legislative issues.
It will be held in room 106 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building, starting at 10:00 a.m. Eastern.
Thursday's hearing will be webcast live, and archived for viewing later, at http://veterans.senate.gov. They may also be audiocast ? during the hearings only ? on C-SPAN's hearings website, located at http://www.capitolhearings.org.
