SENATE VETERANS' AFFAIRS COMMITTEE TO HOLD TWO HEARINGS -- and take testimony from six veterans organizations

(Washington, DC) Chairman Larry Craig announced today that the Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs will soon begin hearing from a variety of veterans' organizations, beginning with two hearings next week. 

Both hearings will be webcast live, and archived for viewing later, at http://veterans.senate.gov. They may also be audiocast ? during the hearings only ? on C-SPAN's hearings website, located at http://www.capitolhearings.org.

On Tuesday, February 28, in room 216 of the Hart Senate Office Building, starting at 2:00 p.m. Eastern, the committee will receive the legislative presentation of the Disabled American Veterans.

Representing the DAV will be:

On Thursday, March 2, in room 106 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building, starting at 10:00 a.m. Eastern, the committee will receive the legislative presentation of leaders from five other organizations for veterans and survivors, including:

  • Morgan Brown, Manager, Military and Government Relations, Air Force Sergeants Association
  • Deirdre Parke Holleman, National Legislative Director, The Retired Enlisted Association
