Thursday Hearing Will Review Legislation Important to Veterans

 

 

 

 

 

(Washington, DC) U.S. Senator Larry Craig, chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs, announced today that the committee will hold a hearing this week regarding 12 bills now before the committee.

The hearing will be held Thursday, June 23, in room 418 of the Russell Senate Office Building, starting at 10 a.m. It will be webcast live on the committee's website, located at http://veterans.senate.gov. It may also be audiocast on C-SPAN'S hearing's website, located at http://www.capitolhearings.org.

Those presenting testimony at the hearing will include officials from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as representatives from various veterans' service organizations. A full witness list will be issued later this week.
